It has been a busy week here in our house. We started the week out okay and then Carter started to run a fever so I made a Dr. Appointment and he tested positive for strep so 2 days Quarantined away from the babies he is on the mend. Chase also started his First Grade skill builders class and he just loves it. We are so lucky there is summer reading program to keep our kids learning and reading through the summer. Last night was great fun b/c my BFF Michelle is healing nicely from her surgery so we took our families out for dinner and I did have a margarita which was much needed! This morning my mom came over early and put my house together so nicely. She is the greatest!! She knows exactly what to do and just loves the babies. She gave them baths and rocked and loved them all morning. This freed me up to go to Target with the boys to stock up on household supplies.
The babies are growing so nicely I think Mikey has hit the 8lb mark and Lily the 7 lbs mark. They are growing so quickly it is amazing. Last night they also slept for 4 and 4 1/2 hour stretches which is awesome!!
We are so happy with how the boys have been adjusting to all of the changes. Some might think they get a little wild but from a mom of young boys they are just AWESOME!! How lucky are we to have such wonderful children.
